Over the years I have used a number of real estate brokers with regard to purchasing and selling homes. The experience I had with White Sands Realty and Doug Olmsted has clearly been my best experience—-by far. Everything you would want in utilizing a real estate broker you can find in Doug. He is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and friendly and always available. He tells it like it is and is a valuable asset in house hunting in the Naples area. There are many brokers and associates who have come into this field as an afterthought or simply because they weren’t able to find a job in their chosen profession—-and those individuals you should avoid at all costs. On the other hand, Doug has been a broker for 25 years and has enormous expertise that will make buying or selling a house or condo a fabulous and enlightening experience. Douglas Olmsted is a phenomenal agent. He has represented us several times as both a buyers and sellers agent. On one occasion he was instrumental in getting our property sold when he assisted the buyers’ in increasing their appraisal for their loan. He noticed the errors in the appraisal whereas the buyers’ agent was content with letting the sale fail. On another occasion he was tireless in finding our dream bay front property.
