Douglas Olmsted is a phenomenal agent. He has represented us several times as both a buyers and sellers agent. On one occasion he was instrumental in getting our property sold when he assisted the buyers’ in increasing their appraisal for their loan. He noticed the errors in the appraisal whereas the buyers’ agent was content with letting the sale fail. On another occasion he was tireless in finding our dream bay front property. We recently bought a condo on the ocean in Naples, and worked with Derek Anderson. Derek did an exceptional job and we would highly recommend him! We did know Derek before hand, and he came highly recommended. We live in the Midwest, and wanted a condo on the beach in Naples. Derek made the process of finding the right property extremely easy. He did an excellent job researching different properties, and educated us to understand the advantages and disadvantages of the different areas and properties in and around Naples. We flew into Naples on a number of weekends, and Derek would pick us up. We would then tour many properties in one or two days in a very efficient manner. After reviewing everything on the market that met our needs, we settled on a property. Derek helped us negotiate a fair price based upon market conditions, which ultimately the buyers accepted. He also took care of numerous other details, including finding appropriate inspectors and contractors as needed. Many real estate agents "dabble" in real estate and don't treat it like a profession, or they are constantly just trying to get you to buy something to get their commission. We never felt like Derek was trying to pressure us in any way, and he only wanted us to find the right property. He often would recommend against certain properties due to negative things he was aware of about the property or the area, that we weren't aware of. Derek truly handles his business as a professional, and takes exceptional care of his customers. I've never written a review on Google before but my experience with Maurice Cossairt at White Sands Realty was so exceptional it would be a disservice to not write about it. This will be a bit long but I mean every word of it!My wife and I went into Naples and wanted to get an idea of what we could get at our price point and it was clear we needed local help. So after a google search and reading the reviews, we gave White Sands Realty number a call and talked with Maurice. We was surprised at the number of real estate agents representing Naples that don't actually live in Naples. We wanted a local expert. We got that with Maurice.Maurice is not only a real estate agent, he also has extensive building experience. His experience literally saved us more than 8% on the cost of new construction. Every time the builder we chose would say an upgrade would cost "X" Maurice was able to say what the actual cost was and the builder would lower the cost because Maurice was right and they knew it.For instance, I witnessed where the builder would say "but we need to put in additional plumbing" when we wanted to add a pool bathroom, but Maurice had looked at the blue prints and pointed out that they didn't need to because a rough in for an outdoor kitchen was already priced in. An option he also got greatly reduced in price. Things like that saved us tens of thousands of dollars.We spend two days with Maurice non-stop and he was always kind, understanding, and professional. The home my wife and I was interested in had not been built in Naples yet. The closest model we could actually walk through was in Sarasota so my wife and I indicated we was going to drive up to see it and Maurice went with us. He even drove which was a 3 hour round trip!I honestly believe if we had attempted to do the leg work ourselves or with someone less knowledgeable than Maurice it would have cost of us tens of thousands more and we would not have come close to getting what we are now getting.Additionally, since we are from out of state we need someone local we can trust to watch the construction and make sure the changes we've indicated are indeed happening. I am 100% confident that Maurice is the right person.I work in the technical field. I am out of my element when it comes to home construction and the building process. If you do not have the necessary skill set so you know exactly what you are doing I believe it would be a mistake to not call Maurice and get the skill set you need on your side of the negotiations. We could not be happier with the way things turned out and we believe this is just the start of a long relationship.read more

Chrissi Brignola was the agent on a rental house in Golden Gate Estates that my wife and I were going to rent until we found a house to buy. When move-in day came we found, to our horror, the owner of the home had moved out the night before and left the house a total disaster! FILTHY! Sour, wet clothes in the dryer, food in the fridge, etc. Luckily, we had to go to South Carolina to pick up the remainder of our belongings and the house could be cleaned over the weekend while we were gone.I called Chrissi from SC the following day to check on the cleaning progress and she said the cleaning lady had walked out, refusing to clean such a disgusting mess!! Chrissi and her husband went to the house the following day and spent over 8 hours cleaning the house themselves so that we wouldn't have to return to a filthy home!! That is not just customer service, that is compassion and empathy and showed me how much she really cares about people. We took two long years looking...Ryan Ehmen is very personable and drove us around different neighborhoods, gave us materials about associations, individual homes, and condos, and other valuable information for figuring out what type of place we wanted and where we wanted to buy. He quickly answered questions...even over this long period. Finally, when our home sold, he was available immediately...even with his family tragedy going on...he covered us. Ryan Ehmen helped my girlfriend and I find and purchase our first home together; he was there to assist us every step of the way. Ryan was very patient with us but extremely proactive. He would send us new houses daily, encouraged us to look outside our comfort zone (which found us the house of our dreams), made himself available at all hours and even anytime over the weekend to show us a home or answer any questions we had. Ryan would even go as far as going to look at a home when we weren't available and give us a full report on it after his walkthrough. My husband and I just closed on a condo in Ft. Myers. We could not have accomplished this without Steve and Gorana Saner. Living in NY and not knowing any realtors in SW Florida I randomly placed a search for the area we were interested in and White Sands came up. Steve contacted me immediately and within a day, Gorana had sent us all the current listings based on our requirements. We had 4 days of house hunting, and both Steve and Gorana made the most of it. We looked in both Naples and Ft. Myers. It turned out the first condo we saw was meant to be ours! Steve and Gorana couldn't have been more patient and kind. After looking at a myriad of condos and deciding on ours, it turned out that we had to provide a bank check or wire transfer for a deposit. Again, being from NY, our bank was not in Florida. Steve and Gorana offered to put down the deposit from their personal account taking a check in return from basically a perfect stranger! I don't know if that happens very often! Steve and Gorana were not trying to "sell" us a home. They genuinely wanted us to love our new home. They handled our walkthru for us. Steve sent a video of the unit the same day of the walk thru and followed up with the builders. I could go on and on as to how lucky we are to have met and worked with Steve and Gorana. After deciding to move to Southwest Florida, and doing as much Internet research as possible, I contacted White Sands Realty by phone, and was connected to Ryan Ehman. While we were pretty well convinced that Riverstone was the community that best met our needs, we still had many questions about building a new home in this area of the country. Ryan guided us through the model homes, providing us with excellent insight relative to design features, upgrade options, and lot selection. He also showed us other neighborhoods as a means of comparison. He provided us valuable advice on which upgrades to have the builder include, and which to save for after the closing, as well as recommendations to complete that work. My wife and I decided to go out on a limb and relocate to Naples. We picked Mark Weber at White Sands Realty as an agent simply because I saw a picture of him with his family. Since we have a young daughter, I figured he'd be able to help direct us with neighborhoods and school systems. It ended up being a great decision. Mark was great to work with. He was a great help in narrowing our choices of homes to explore, and took us out on a full day of showings.After getting to know us from just a few phone conversations and emails, and only one day of shopping together, he dragged us "against our will" to a home he knew we would like better than what we had seen. We fell in love with it. Sooner than we planned, he was able to assist with an offer, and negotiate a deal. Fast forward 5 months to the closing because the sellers are building a new home. Everything went smoothly, including Mark setting us up with a lease for the sellers to rent from us for a few months while their new home is being finished. It wasn't even a hiccup in the deal, there was no stress on my part at all.The seller's agents happened to be Derek and Jackie. All of the people at White Sands Realty were great, and I'm sure we've formed some very long term relationships here.
